LSC Equal Justice Conference 2010
by American Bar Association and National Legal Aid & Defender Association
The Equal Justice Conference is an annual event co-hosted by the American Bar Association and the National Legal Aid & Defender Association. It brings together legal professionals, advocates, and stakeholders dedicated to promoting equal access to justice for all individuals, regardless of their economic status.
The 2010 conference featured a range of sessions and workshops focusing on critical issues such as pro bono service enhancement, innovative legal service delivery models, and strategies to address the justice gap. Attendees engaged in discussions on emerging trends in legal aid, the impact of technology on legal services, and collaborative approaches to improve client outcomes.
In addition to the main conference, pre-conference events were held on May 11-12, 2010, including the New Executive Director Training and the Self-Represented Litigation Network Educational Program. These sessions provided specialized training and networking opportunities for legal aid leaders and practitioners.
The conference is designed for legal aid professionals, pro bono coordinators, law firm leaders, and others committed to advancing equal justice. Participants gain valuable insights, share best practices, and build connections to strengthen their efforts in serving low-income and underserved communities.
