The 6th Annual Internet of Things European Summit, organized by Forum Europe, took place from May 11 to 13, 2015, at the Management Centre Europe in Brussels, Belgium. This three-day event convened over 200 delegates, including key European decision-makers and leading industry stakeholders, to discuss the evolving IoT landscape and its implications across various sectors.
The summit featured high-level discussions on key policy considerations and numerous commercial opportunities available to companies in sectors such as Transport, Retail, Health & Wellbeing, Energy, and the Industrial Internet. Sessions included 'Smart Retail: The Internet of Things as a 'game-changer' for the retail industry' and 'Smart Healthcare and Wellbeing: Revolutionising a sector,' focusing on how IoT technologies are transforming these industries.
Attendees had the opportunity to engage in sector-specific 'smart sessions' that emphasized innovation, challenges, and collaborations within the IoT ecosystem.
