NAPPA Legal Education Conference 2015
The NAPPA Legal Education Conference is an annual event organized by the National Association of Public Pension Attorneys (NAPPA), a professional legal and educational organization established in 1987. This conference serves as a premier gathering for attorneys who represent public pension funds, offering a platform to discuss current issues, share practical solutions, and enhance their professional knowledge.
The 2015 conference featured a comprehensive agenda covering a wide range of topics pertinent to public pension law. Key sessions included a Federal Legislative Update, discussions on Benefit Reform Litigation, and workshops on Electronically Stored Information (E-Discovery). Additionally, specialized sessions addressed emerging manager and directed investment programs, providing attendees with insights into both foundational and advanced aspects of pension law.
Attendees had the opportunity to engage in networking events, such as the Early Bird Reception, fostering connections among peers in the public pension legal community. The conference also offered Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits, ensuring that participants met their professional development requirements while staying informed about the latest developments in the field.
This conference is ideal for attorneys new to the public pension sector, as well as seasoned professionals seeking to stay abreast of evolving legal landscapes. By attending, participants gain valuable knowledge, practical skills, and a network of colleagues dedicated to the advancement of public pension law.
