In Celebration of Black History Month: An Event Recognizing Black Women Who Lead

In honor of Black History Month, the Northeast Women in Public Finance and Orrick's Diversity & Inclusion Initiative are hosting a panel discussion featuring prominent Black women leaders in the field of public finance. This event aims to highlight their significant contributions and explore how organizations can leverage their expertise and leadership.

The discussion will cover key topics such as the challenges and opportunities faced by Black women in public finance, strategies for fostering inclusive leadership, and the impact of diversity on organizational success. Attendees will gain insights into the experiences and perspectives of these trailblazing professionals.

The event will take place on February 20, 2019, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Eastern Standard Time at Orrick's New York office, located at 51 West 52nd Street, New York, NY 10019-6142. This gathering offers a valuable opportunity for networking with industry leaders and peers, as well as engaging in meaningful discussions on diversity and inclusion in public finance.

Partner, Restructuring, Bankruptcy Litigation at Orrick

Lorraine brings over 30 years of legal experience in bankruptcies, out-of-court restructurings, sovereign debt restructurings, and creditors' rights controversies. She interfaces with auditors, government regulators, investment bankers, and others, developing and implementing mediation and litigation strategies, and negotiating reorganization plans and complex corporate and finance documents.
