Practice 360° is an annual conference organized by the D.C. Bar's Practice Management Advisory Service, designed to help legal professionals enhance their practice management skills and adapt to evolving industry trends. The 2020 edition was held virtually on September 18, 2020, offering a comprehensive program tailored to the unique challenges faced by law firms during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event featured a diverse array of sessions covering critical topics such as law firm innovation, ethics, wellness, and marketing. Attendees had the opportunity to explore innovative practice management strategies, learn from industry leaders, and earn up to 3.0 Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits. Notable sessions included "AI, Legal, and the Changing Business of Law" by Andrew Arruda of Ross Intelligence, and "Running on Empty: Preventing Burnout in the Legal Profession" presented by Niki Irish of the D.C. In addition to educational seminars, Practice 360° provided networking opportunities and an online showcase of product and service vendors, enabling participants to connect with peers and discover new tools to enhance their practice. The virtual format ensured accessibility for a wide audience, accommodating the constraints imposed by the pandemic.
