23rd Annual Federalist Society Faculty Conference
The 23rd Annual Federalist Society Faculty Conference, held virtually from January 6 to 8, 2021, was organized by the Federalist Society's Faculty Division. This event brought together legal scholars and practitioners to discuss and debate pressing issues in law and public policy.
Key topics covered during the conference included the reconsideration of the Supreme Court's decision in Employment Division v. Smith, the extent of state police powers during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the role of corporate social responsibility. Additionally, the conference featured discussions on originalism and its critiques, as well as presentations by young legal scholars on their current research.
The conference provided numerous opportunities for networking and professional development, including panel discussions, debates, and presentations by esteemed legal experts.
