EUROUT is Europe's leading LGBTQ+ conference for graduate students and alumni from top business schools, organized annually by the Out in Business Club at London Business School. The 2022 conference marked its 10th anniversary, bringing together delegates from over 20 business schools and more than 15 companies to discuss key issues for the LGBTQ+ community in the business world.

The conference featured a diverse range of sessions covering topics such as equity and inclusion, leadership development, and career advancement for LGBTQ+ professionals. Attendees had the opportunity to engage in panel discussions, workshops, and keynote speeches addressing the challenges and opportunities within the corporate environment.

In addition to the educational sessions, EUROUT 2022 offered numerous networking opportunities, including a career fair connecting students with forward-thinking companies committed to diversity. The event also featured entertainment from comedians and performances by British drag artist Vanity Milan, fostering a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere.

EUROUT is designed for LGBTQ+ graduate students, recent alumni, and professionals seeking to connect with like-minded individuals and organizations that champion diversity and inclusion. The conference provides a platform to share experiences, gain insights, and build networks that support personal and professional growth.

Deputy Executive Director of Strategy and Culture at ACLU

Amber Hikes is a social justice advocate, community organizer, and TED Talk speaker. As the ACLU’s first Chief Equity and Inclusion Officer, they provide vision and leadership for the organization's nationwide strategy to support equity, diversity, and inclusion. Amber introduced the More Color, More Pride flag in 2017, launching a global conversation around anti-racism in the LGBTQ community.

Birgit Neu

Senior DEI Advisor at Nexus

Birgit Neu is an independent Senior DEI Advisor focusing on DEI strategy design, communications, and learning development for multinationals. Previously, she was the Global Head of Diversity and Inclusion at HSBC and has had a broad career spanning multiple sectors. Birgit has been recognized in various lists, including LinkedIn’s Top 10 UK Voices for Equity 2022.

Bisi Alimi

Executive Director at Bisi Alimi Foundation

Bisi Alimi is the founder and Executive Director of the Bisi Alimi Foundation, working to accelerate social acceptance of LGBT people in Nigeria. With over 15 years of experience in sexual orientation and gender identity advocacy in Africa, Bisi is a multitalented storyteller, actor, activist, and angelic troublemaker.

Carrie Reiners

Deputy CEO at Albert Kennedy Trust (akt)

Carrie Reiners joined the Albert Kennedy Trust in April 2017 as the Director of Fundraising and was appointed Deputy CEO in 2020. With over 25 years of experience in charitable fundraising and charity management, she oversees all income generation and has significantly grown the charity's income and staff numbers.

Cary Gibson

Director at KKR & Co.

Cary Gibson is a Director at KKR & Co., where she is also COO of Global Wealth Solutions EMEA. A graduate of Williams College, Cary has significant experience in investor relations, product development, and marketing, with over ten years in the financial services industry across traditional and alternative asset classes.

Dee Allum

Comedian

Dee Allum is a transgender comedian and the first LGBT person to come out of Watford since Elton John. She is a two-time Northdown New Act Competition winner (2021), Leicester Square Theatre New Comedian runner-up (2021), Pleasance Reserve (2022), and BBC New Comedy Award Finalist (2022).

Geffrye Parsons

Founder and CEO at The Inclusion Imperative

Geffrye Parsons is the Founder and CEO of The Inclusion Imperative, specializing in promoting LGBTQ+ inclusion in commercial organizations. He retired from the financial services industry in early 2022 after 35 years as a front office executive. Geff chaired Macquarie’s LGBTQ+ network for 8 years and took the company to #1 in the Stonewall Workplace Equality Index 2022.

Ken Janssens

Co-Founder at Windo

Ken Janssens brings over 25 years as a tech and data executive, primarily at JPMorgan Chase. He co-founded Windō, a startup dedicated to connecting young talent with employers that share their values. Ken has been recognized as a Top 100 LGBT+ Executive consecutively from 2017 to 2020 by the Financial Times, Yahoo Finance, and Involve.

Kyran Thrax

Actor, Model, and Drag Performer

Kyran Thrax is an actor, model, and drag performer who recently had his West End debut in 'Gals Aloud.' Holding a BA in acting and contemporary theatre, he discovered drag while at drama school and became an overnight success. Kyran has appeared in various productions and uses his platform to raise awareness around sexual exploitation.

Lesley Wan

General Counsel at FBN Bank

Lesley Wan is General Counsel for FBN Bank, overseeing legal, company secretariat, and regulatory risks. She has extensive experience in private practice and the corporate world, including roles at A&O, HSBC, and Lloyds Banking Group. Lesley is the recipient of numerous awards, including 'Legal Counsel of the Year 2012' at the British Legal Awards.
