Angelene Falk was appointed Australian Information Commissioner and Privacy Commissioner in August 2018. She leads the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) in fulfilling its functions across privacy, freedom of information, and government information management. Ms. Falk has held senior positions in the OAIC since 2012 and has extensive experience addressing regulatory challenges and opportunities presented by rapidly evolving technology and data uses.
Anna Johnston
Director of Market Strategy and Client Development at Helios Salinger
Anna Johnston is one of Australia’s most respected experts in privacy law and practice. In 2004, she founded Salinger Privacy, which in 2024 became Helios Salinger, offering privacy, data governance, and AI services across consulting, training, and resources. Anna is an IAPP Westin Emeritus Fellow and Senior Fellow, Global Privacy at the Future of Privacy Forum in Washington DC.
Claire Knight-Whiting
General Manager, Legal, Global Privacy at Xero
Claire is an internationally experienced privacy lawyer with over 15 years of experience working for global companies on privacy, data protection, cyber, and data governance. After a decade overseas, she returned to New Zealand and now leads a team as GM - Privacy & AI Governance at Xero, a global SaaS company providing accounting software to small businesses worldwide. Claire also serves on IAPP's ANZ Advisory Board.

He was Australia’s Privacy Commissioner from 1999 to 2004, leading the implementation of the nation’s first broad-based private sector privacy law. Malcolm has been a member of advisory bodies around the world, including the EU, OECD, APEC, and large global companies.
Mark Thompson
Chief Strategy Officer at IAPP
