Greater Bay Area Anti-Drug Summit

The Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area Anti-drug Summit is a collaborative initiative co-hosted by the Narcotics Division of the Security Bureau and the Action Committee Against Narcotics (ACAN) to commemorate ACAN's 60th anniversary. This one-day summit aims to strengthen anti-drug cooperation across the Greater Bay Area, including partnerships with non-governmental organizations.
Key topics include youth drug prevention strategies, enhancing collaboration among various agencies on law enforcement, intelligence sharing, and analyzing emerging drug trends. The agenda features panel forums on anti-drug communication strategies, combating cross-border crime, and fostering youth collaboration for a drug-free Greater Bay Area.
The summit is scheduled for Friday, 5 September 2025, from 09:30 to 17:00, at the Auditorium, 8/F, Police Headquarters, Wan Chai, Hong Kong. Participation is by invitation only, and the event will be conducted in Cantonese, Putonghua, and English, with simultaneous interpretation available.
This summit is particularly relevant for law enforcement officials, policymakers, educators, and representatives from non-governmental organizations involved in anti-drug initiatives. Attendees will gain valuable insights into regional anti-drug strategies and have opportunities to network with counterparts from across the Greater Bay Area.
