InsureTech Connect Asia 2023

InsureTech Connect Asia 2023 was the largest insurance technology event in Southeast Asia, held from May 30 to June 1, 2023, at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre in Singapore. The event attracted over 350 companies and 1,400 participants, including insurance firms, reinsurance companies, brokers, insurtech startups, venture capitalists, and consulting firms. ABeam Consulting served as an official sponsor and collaborated with Denodo Technologies Inc. to set up a joint booth.

The conference featured approximately 80 sessions covering advanced insurance topics. Key themes included partnership development and ecosystem building, AI integration in insurance, sustainability, distribution channels, and personalized product and service development. Notably, a keynote session by the Chief Fintech Officer of the Monetary Authority of Singapore addressed challenges and growth areas in the insurtech sector, emphasizing the need for generative AI, lifestyle insurance, and seamless claims handling.

The event provided extensive networking opportunities, with tens of thousands of meetings facilitating connections among industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and investors. Exhibitors showcased innovative solutions, and sessions featured discussions on integrating traditional insurers with insurtechs. Notable speakers included Sopnendu Mohanty, Chief Fintech Officer of the Monetary Authority of Singapore, and leaders from companies like ABeam Consulting, ZA Tech, and Standard Chartered Bank.
