Maine State Bar Association Winter Bar Conference 2023

by Maine State Bar Association

The Maine State Bar Association (MSBA) hosted its annual Winter Bar Conference from January 25 to 27, 2023, at The Westin Portland Harborview in Portland, Maine. This in-person event brought together legal professionals from across the state for a comprehensive program of continuing legal education (CLE), networking opportunities, and discussions on pressing issues within the legal community.

The conference featured a diverse range of sessions covering topics such as the priorities of the Maine Judicial Branch, issues associated with diminished capacity clients, and the regulation of firearms. Attendees had the opportunity to earn up to 6.5 CLE credits, including ethics and harassment and discrimination (H&D) credits, through both plenary and concurrent sessions.

In addition to educational sessions, the conference provided ample networking opportunities, including receptions and section business meetings.
