SupTech Week 2023 was the inaugural annual gathering of global suptech experts, organized by the Cambridge SupTech Lab, part of the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance at the University of Cambridge Judge Business School. The event took place virtually from December 4 to 7, 2023, and aimed to advance the digital transformation of financial supervision by fostering collaboration across the ecosystem. Content partners included the Bank for International Settlements Innovation Hub and the World Economic Forum.

The four-day event featured 29 sessions covering topics such as supervisory pain points that suptech can address, emerging technologies powering the modernization of financial supervision, and the role of international collaboration in scaling solutions. Deep dives into data science, artificial intelligence, and factors beyond technology necessary for advancing financial supervision capabilities were also included.

SupTech Week 2023 attracted over 500 participants from 60 countries, including representatives from 35 financial authorities and 30 ecosystem partners. The event featured 86 speakers, including notable figures such as May Abulnaga, First Sub-Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt; Greta Bull, Director of Women's Economic Empowerment at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation; and Sunayna Tuteja, Chief Innovation Officer at the Federal Reserve System.

The event was designed for financial supervisors, regulators, technologists, and industry professionals interested in the digital transformation of financial supervision. Attendees had the opportunity to engage with global experts, share insights, and explore innovative solutions to enhance supervisory capabilities.
