The Fourth ERUA Annual Summit 2024, titled "Social Innovations for Transformative Society," is a premier gathering organized by the European Reform University Alliance (ERUA). Scheduled for June 25-27, 2024, at Mykolas Romeris University in Vilnius, Lithuania, this summit convenes thought leaders, academics, policymakers, and innovators to explore the pivotal role of social innovations in addressing global transformation and sustainability challenges.
The summit's agenda includes a series of focused parallel workshops covering themes such as "Navigating the Complexities of Migration, Exile, and Refugees," "Democracy, Human Rights, Inclusion and Gender Equality," "Leveraging Social Innovations for Sustainable Environmental Transition," "Embracing Interculturality and Multilingualism," and "Arts and Edges: Unconventional Approaches to Social Change." These sessions aim to foster a critical discourse on the methodologies and challenges involved in measuring the societal impact of scientific research, emphasizing the importance of accountability and real-world benefits.
Attendees will have opportunities for networking, engaging in panel discussions, and participating in workshops designed to showcase exemplary practices in developing social innovations. The event seeks to provide insights into effective strategies and methodologies for nurturing ecosystems for social innovations, particularly within the academic context.
