13th Legal Argumentation Conference 2025
The 13th Legal Argumentation Conference 2025, themed "Law, Artificial Intelligence and Ethics," is a two-day event scheduled for November 20-21, 2025, in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Organized collaboratively by the European Faculty of Law at New University, the Faculty of Law and Economics at the Catholic Institute, and the Center for Constitutionalism and AI (Con-AI Project), this conference aims to explore the intersection of legal theory, artificial intelligence, and ethical considerations.
The conference will feature a series of presentations and discussions on topics such as AI-assisted legal decision-making, the historical development of artificial intelligence, human rights protection in algorithmic societies, and the role of AI in economic diplomacy. Notable sessions include "Six Approaches for AI & Ethics: On the Maximization of Benefit (and Minimization of Harm) in AI-Assisted Legal Decisions" and "Human Rights Protection in Algorithmic Society."
Attendees will have opportunities for networking during scheduled coffee breaks and a conference dinner at Restaurant Most. The event will also host distinguished speakers, including Prof. Dr. M.
