The 13th Legal Argumentation Conference 2025, themed "Law, Artificial Intelligence and Ethics," is a two-day event scheduled for November 20-21, 2025, in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Organized collaboratively by the European Faculty of Law at New University, the Faculty of Law and Economics at the Catholic Institute, and the Center for Constitutionalism and AI (Con-AI Project), this conference aims to explore the intersection of legal theory, artificial intelligence, and ethical considerations.

The conference will feature a series of presentations and discussions on topics such as AI-assisted legal decision-making, the historical development of artificial intelligence, human rights protection in algorithmic societies, and the role of AI in economic diplomacy. Notable sessions include "Six Approaches for AI & Ethics: On the Maximization of Benefit (and Minimization of Harm) in AI-Assisted Legal Decisions" and "Human Rights Protection in Algorithmic Society."

Attendees will have opportunities for networking during scheduled coffee breaks and a conference dinner at Restaurant Most. The event will also host distinguished speakers, including Prof. Dr. M. Manzin and Prof. Dr. M. Avbelj, who are recognized experts in the fields of legal theory and artificial intelligence.
