The American Bar Association (ABA) is hosting its 2025 Business Law Section Spring Meeting from April 24 to April 26 at the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana. This annual event brings together legal professionals, including managing partners, in-house counsel, government regulators, judges, and top practitioners from around the world, to discuss major issues facing business lawyers today.

The meeting will feature over 50 continuing legal education (CLE) programs and numerous discussions on topics such as corporate regulation, securities law, taxation, government affairs, and litigation. Notable sessions include "What to Expect from the New Administration," providing insights into emerging changes affecting the business law landscape, and "All the President’s Men: A Look at Attorneys’ Ethical Duties in View of Recent Disbarments and Criminal Convictions," exploring the ethical responsibilities of attorneys in light of recent events.

Attendees will have opportunities to network with peers during various receptions and events, including the In-House Counsel Reception on April 25. The meeting will also host an exhibition featuring services like registered agent services, entity management, and corporate services, allowing participants to engage with industry service providers.

This event is ideal for business law professionals seeking to stay informed about current trends, earn CLE credits, and expand their professional networks.
