2025 Conference

The SNAPLA 2025 Conference, themed "Better Together," was a collaborative event hosted by the Southern Association of Pre-Law Advisors (SAPLA) and the Northeast Association of Pre-Law Advisors (NAPLA). Held from June 16 to June 18, 2025, in Richmond, Virginia, the conference aimed to provide pre-law advisors with critical updates, professional development programs, and opportunities to connect with law school admissions teams and exhibitors.

The conference featured a comprehensive schedule with programs at William and Mary Law on June 16, and at Richmond Law on June 17 and 18. Attendees had access to plenary sessions, concurrent sessions, and smaller breakout sessions covering various topics pertinent to pre-law advising. Transportation between the conference hotel, The Westin Richmond, and the two law schools was provided, ensuring seamless access to all events.

Networking opportunities were abundant, with attendees engaging with law school admissions teams and exhibitors from across the pre-law advising profession. The conference also offered a special reception at the Rhode Island State House on Monday evening, providing light hors d’oeuvres and a chance for informal networking. Accommodations were available at The Westin Richmond, with a special rate of $174 per night for conference attendees.

The conference was designed for pre-law advisors, law school admissions officers, and other professionals involved in pre-law advising. It provided a platform for both new and veteran advisors to enhance their skills, share resources, and stay updated on developments in the field.
