eDiscovery 101 for In-House Counsel

"eDiscovery 101 for In-House Counsel" is a specialized program designed to equip in-house legal professionals with a comprehensive understanding of electronic discovery processes. Organized by the State Bar of Arizona, this event aims to address the unique challenges faced by corporate legal departments in managing electronic data during litigation and regulatory investigations.

The program covers key topics such as the fundamentals of eDiscovery, legal and ethical obligations, data preservation and collection strategies, and the latest technological tools and best practices. Participants will gain insights into effectively managing electronic evidence, ensuring compliance with legal standards, and mitigating risks associated with electronic data management.

Senior Project Manager and Supervisor at TERIS

Kevin Heath Day is an Arizona patent attorney with over 10 years’ experience, specializing in eDiscovery, intellectual property, and general business consulting. He advises law firm and corporate clients on eDiscovery matters from collection through production. His background in business, law, and engineering enables him to develop and implement solutions from multiple perspectives. He has led document review teams at Ryley, Carlock & Applewhite and currently leads the Project Management team at TERIS, an end-to-end consultative eDiscovery services partner. Mr. Day has presented CLEs on using Relativity to facilitate reviews and has been a panelist at the ASU-Arkfeld eDiscovery Conference. He serves as a member of the State Bar of Arizona’s Technology Committee and Co-Chair of its ESI-EED Subcommittee. He is a past President, Vice-President, and member of the Industrial Development Authority for the Town of Gilbert.
