EIC 2025

The European Identity and Cloud Conference (EIC) 2025, organized by KuppingerCole Analysts, was held from May 6 to 9, 2025, at the bcc Berlin Congress Center in Berlin, Germany. This 18th annual event focused on pioneering digital identity ecosystems, attracting over 1,500 attendees, more than 300 speakers, and featuring over 230 sessions. It served as a premier platform for professionals to explore the future of digital identity, security, privacy, and governance in an AI-driven environment.

The conference covered a wide array of topics, including decentralized identity, enterprise identity and access management, identity governance and administration, B2B onboarding, consumer identity and access management, eIDAS2, ID wallets, travel credentials, identity in an AI world, Industry 4.0, zero trust identity, post-quantum security, privacy and data protection, modern authentication approaches, misinformation and trust, and identity-centric security. Notable sessions included keynotes by Martin Kuppinger on "The Identity Fabric for the 2040s," Loffie Jordaan on "Challenges in Verifiable Credential Ecosystem Establishment," and Paul Twomey on "Empowering Digital Consumers."
