by Harbor

Legal Lab 2025 was held from April 1st to 3rd at The Langham in Boston, a venue rich in history as the former Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. Harbor CEO Matt Sunderman inaugurated the event by emphasizing its role as a "room where it happens," setting the stage for a dynamic forum focused on the future of the legal profession.

The conference centered on three pivotal themes: Talent, Service Delivery, and Technology. Discussions delved into the impact of Generative AI on the legal field, highlighting the necessity for adaptive leadership and the development of skills beyond traditional legal expertise. Emphasis was placed on fostering leadership and networking abilities to navigate the evolving landscape effectively.

Attendees had the opportunity to engage with prominent figures such as Professor Scott Westfahl of Harvard Law School, Kara Peterson of Descrybe.ai, and Oz Benamram of SKILLS.law. The event also facilitated networking among legal operations leaders from Fortune 500 companies, Silicon Valley tech firms, and top-tier law firms, providing a platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange.

Legal Lab 2025 was designed for legal professionals seeking to understand and adapt to technological advancements and changing industry dynamics.
