The 11th Annual Berkeley Law Sports & Entertainment Conference is a premier event organized by the Berkeley Journal of Entertainment and Sports Law and the Berkeley Center for Law & Technology. Scheduled for Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at The Faculty Club at UC Berkeley, this conference convenes leading executives, industry professionals, attorneys, athletes, talent, and students to explore pivotal topics in sports, entertainment, law, business, and culture.

This year's theme, "Rewriting the Playbook: Ownership, Player Rights, and the Digital Evolution of Sports," will be examined through a series of insightful panels. Discussions will cover "The Business of Modern Sports: Investment, Ownership, and Media Rights," "Players’ Rights: NIL, Trademark, and Athlete Advocacy," and "Sports in the Digital Era: Betting, Data, and Privacy." Additionally, a keynote address titled "NIL and the Future of Student-Athletes" will be delivered by Leigh Steinberg, Founder and Chairman of Steinberg Sports & Entertainment.
