18th Annual Estate Planning and Community Property Law Journal CLE & Expo
The 18th Annual Estate Planning and Community Property Law Journal CLE & Expo is a premier event organized by the Texas Tech University School of Law. Scheduled for Friday, February 20, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the conference will be held at the Mark & Becky Lanier Professional Development Center in Lubbock, Texas. A reception is planned for the evening prior, on Thursday, February 19, from 5:15 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Overton Hotel's Horizon Ballroom.
The conference will cover a range of pertinent topics in estate planning and community property law. Sessions include a legislative update by Meredith McIver, discussions on the rights of a killer in Texas to share in the victim's estate by Gus Tamborello, and insights into capacity, aging, and ethics by Debbie Tedford.
