Criminal Justice Reform Conference 2026
The Criminal Law Society at Penn State Dickinson Law is hosting the Criminal Justice Reform Conference on March 21, 2026, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Lewis Katz Building in University Park. This in-person event aims to delve into critical issues at the intersection of criminal justice and technology.
The conference will feature an expert panel discussing topics such as balancing public safety and privacy in mass surveillance, the challenges of cybercrime and predictive policing, and the expanding role of artificial intelligence in legal practice. Panelists include Jumana Musa, Director of the NACDL Fourth Amendment Center; Mae Quinn, Law Professor at Penn State Dickinson Law; Tom Bowman, Policy Counsel at the Center for Democracy & Technology; Jerome Greco, Digital Forensics Director at Legal Aid, NY; and Cathrine Twigg, Legal Counsel at the Citizens Police Oversight Commission in Philadelphia.
Pennsylvania-licensed attorneys attending the conference can earn 2 hours of substantive Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit. Certificates of attendance will be provided for submission to out-of-state CLE boards; however, approval of out-of-state credit is not guaranteed. Registration for the event is required.
