Dad, Esq. Virtual Summit

The Dad, Esq. Virtual Summit is a two-day online event tailored for Lawyer Dads and their allies, focusing on the theme "Better Lawyers, Better Dads." Organized by the Dad, Esq. community, the summit aims to provide a supportive platform for legal professionals navigating the challenges of balancing a demanding career with fatherhood. The event features keynote speakers, panel discussions, and interactive sessions covering topics such as fatherhood, mental health, law practice, business development, and personal growth.

Scheduled for January 14–15, 2026, each day comprises four sessions between 11 am and 2 pm ET. The agenda includes presentations on building positive digital habits, supporting lawyer moms, redefining growth, and increasing presence with family. Additionally, topics like financial frameworks for firm owners, business development without burnout, wellness as risk management in law firms, and legal writing and LinkedIn habits are covered. The sessions are designed to be interactive, with live Q&A and chat features to engage attendees.

The summit offers networking opportunities through a chat feature on the Mighty Networks platform, allowing attendees to connect with fellow participants. While the inaugural summit does not offer Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits, there is hope to provide CLE credit for future events. The event is open to Lawyer Dads, Lawyer Moms & Co-Parents, Allies & Advocates, and Friends of the Community, aiming to equip participants with actionable strategies and a stronger network to thrive both professionally and personally.
