Join the Berkman Klein Center for a fireside chat and Q&A with Julie Brill, one of the world’s foremost thought leaders on technology, governance, and global regulation.

A former Commissioner of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission and former Chief Privacy Officer and Corporate Vice President for Global Privacy, Safety, and Regulatory Affairs at Microsoft, Brill has spent decades shaping how governments and companies approach data protection, privacy, and AI. Drawing on her experience in government and industry, she will explore how data privacy laws and company practices can help govern AI, including the challenges of surveillance, micro-targeting, and the evolving public–private balance in tech regulation.
