Courtney Soliday is a Research Fellow at the IP Institute. She received her J.D. from The Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law with a concentration in Intellectual Property and Litigation. She is also a Producer at Verizon Media.

Daryl Lim

Associate Director - IP Conference & Microsoft Professorial Fellow at Fordham University School of Law

Daryl Lim is Professor of Law and the Director of the Center for Intellectual Property (IP), Information & Privacy Law. He also holds the inaugural Microsoft Professorial Fellowship at Fordham University School of Law’s Emily C. & John E. Hansen IP Law Institute.

Haydé Ladham

Research Fellow at Fordham University School of Law

Haydé Ladham is a Research Assistant at the IP Institute and is pursuing an LL.M. in Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law at Fordham University School of Law. She has externed at Tapestry’s headquarters, working on name, design, and artwork clearances.

John Richards

Senior Advisor at Ladas & Parry

John Richards is Of Counsel to Ladas & Parry and Senior Advisor to the IP Institute. He has more than four decades of patent experience, specializing in chemical and biochemical patent matters including drafting and prosecution of patent applications in the United States, Europe, and abroad.

Linda Djadda

Research Assistant at Fordham University School of Law

Linda Djadda is a Research Assistant at the IP Institute and is pursuing an LL.M. in Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law at Fordham University School of Law. She has volunteered at both the Fashion Law Institute and the Feerick Center for Social Justice.

Magdalena Berger

Affiliated Fellow at Curi Platz LLP

Magdalena Berger is an Affiliated Fellow at the IP Institute. She has extensive experience in trademark searches, applications, enforcement, and licensing for a wide variety of industries. She graduated summa cum laude from Fordham University School of Law with an LL.M. in IP/IT Law.

Michael Downs

Research Assistant at Fordham University School of Law

Michael Downs is a Research Assistant at the IP Institute and a rising 2L at Fordham University School of Law. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from UCLA, with a minor in Theater.

Prof. Hugh C. Hansen

Director at Fordham University School of Law

Prof. Hansen is a Professor of Law at Fordham Law School, where he teaches courses in IP Law, Copyright Law, Trademark Law, and EU and International Intellectual Property Law. He is the founder and director of both the Emily C. and John E. Hansen Intellectual Property Law Institute and the Annual Conference on Intellectual Property Law and Policy.

Sven Schonhofen is an Affiliated Fellow for the IP Institute, focusing on trademark and copyright law. He is an associate in the Munich office of Reed Smith and a member of the Intellectual Property, Information and Innovation Group.
