The Illinois Forum on Pro Bono is an annual event organized by the Public Interest Law Initiative (PILI) that convenes a diverse group of pro bono stakeholders—including representatives from corporations, law firms, law schools, and public interest law organizations—to explore ideas and strategies for expanding and enhancing pro bono service across Illinois.
The forum focuses on sharing best practices, identifying common challenges, and developing innovative approaches to pro bono service delivery. Attendees engage in in-depth discussions aimed at strengthening pro bono efforts statewide through dialogue, partnership, and practical strategy.
The program runs from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., followed by a networking reception from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. This complimentary event offers 2.0 hours of Illinois MCLE credit. Due to its interactive nature, the forum is offered in person only; virtual participation is not available.
This event is ideal for legal professionals and organizations committed to pro bono work, providing a platform to collaborate, share insights, and develop strategies to enhance pro bono services across Illinois.
