Illinois Free Legal Answers Clinic at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law
The Illinois Free Legal Answers Clinic at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law is a collaborative event organized by the Public Interest Law Initiative (PILI) and Northwestern University. This clinic brings together attorneys and law students to provide pro bono legal assistance to low-income individuals through the Illinois Free Legal Answers platform.
Participants will engage in answering civil legal questions submitted by eligible clients on the platform. The clinic offers a unique opportunity for law students to gain practical experience under the guidance of practicing attorneys, while also serving the community by addressing unmet legal needs.
The event is scheduled to take place on March 3, 2026, at 12:00 pm in Room 175 of the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, located at 375 E. Chicago Avenue, Chicago, IL 60611. Attendees will receive a brief training on using the Illinois Free Legal Answers platform before pairing up to respond to client inquiries. Light refreshments will be provided during the clinic.
This clinic is ideal for attorneys seeking to fulfill pro bono commitments and for law students aiming to enhance their practical legal skills. By participating, attendees contribute to expanding access to justice for individuals who might otherwise lack legal assistance.
