The Joint CDDW™-CLM Conference 2026 is the premier meeting for members of the Canadian gastroenterology and hepatology communities, including clinicians, trainees, nurses, and researchers interested in liver and gastroenterology. This flagship event is a collaboration between the Canadian Association of Gastroenterology (CAG) and the Canadian Association for the Study of the Liver (CASL), along with their affiliates, the Canadian Network on Hepatitis C (CanHepC), the Canadian MASLD Network (CanMASLD), and the Canadian HBV Network (CanHepB). The conference will take place from February 27 to March 1, 2026, in Toronto, Ontario, marking the 30th anniversary of this cornerstone event in Canada's digestive health landscape.

The conference will cover a wide range of topics pertinent to gastroenterology and hepatology, including cellular and molecular gastroenterology, clinical practice, endoscopy, gastrointestinal oncology, intestinal disorders, liver diseases, obesity, metabolism, nutrition, esophageal, gastric, and duodenal disorders, inflammatory bowel diseases, neurogastroenterology, motility, and pancreatic disorders. Sessions will feature the latest research, innovative treatments, and advancements in these fields, providing attendees with comprehensive insights into current trends and future directions.

In addition to the scientific sessions, the conference will offer practical opportunities such as networking events, an exhibition hall showcasing the latest products and services, and poster presentations. Notable speakers and experts in the field will share their knowledge and experiences, fostering an environment of learning and collaboration. The event will also emphasize sustainability, with proactive steps to reduce its environmental impact by focusing on areas like travel, food and beverage, energy use, and waste management.

This conference is ideal for healthcare professionals, researchers, trainees, and industry representatives involved in gastroenterology and hepatology. Attendees will benefit from the opportunity to engage with peers, learn about cutting-edge research, and participate in discussions that shape the future of digestive health in Canada and beyond.
