NAJIT 47th Annual Conference

by National Association of Judiciary Interpreters and Translators (NAJIT)

The 47th Annual Conference of the National Association of Judiciary Interpreters and Translators (NAJIT) is scheduled for June 5–7, 2026, at the Wyndham Atlanta Buckhead Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia. This premier event brings together language professionals and stakeholders in the judiciary to explore the evolving role of interpreters and translators in a technology-driven world.

The conference theme, "Beyond AI: The Irreplaceable Human Element," emphasizes the indispensable expertise, ethics, and human connection that judiciary interpreters and translators provide, even as artificial intelligence becomes more prevalent. Attendees can expect a range of sessions and workshops focusing on skill-building, ethical considerations, and the impact of technology on the profession.

In addition to educational sessions, the conference offers networking opportunities, an exhibit hall featuring industry vendors, and social events such as a welcome reception and a Saturday evening gathering. Notable speakers, including keynote presenter Agustín Servin de la Mora, will share insights and experiences to inspire and inform participants.

This conference is ideal for judiciary interpreters, translators, language service providers, and students entering the field. It provides a platform to enhance professional skills, stay updated on industry trends, and connect with peers and experts dedicated to upholding the highest standards in legal interpretation and translation.
