Second Annual Corporate Law Symposium

by Texas A&M University School of Law

The Second Annual Corporate Law Symposium, organized by Texas A&M University School of Law, is a premier event focusing on the evolving landscape of corporate governance and legal innovation. This one-day, in-person symposium will be held on February 17, 2026, at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, offering 6.25 Texas CLE credit hours.

The symposium will cover critical topics such as the impacts of deregulation, competition among states for corporate charters, innovations in securities trading, shareholder engagement, and the development of the Texas Business Court. Attendees will gain insights into how these developments may affect the long-term health and accountability of modern public corporations.

The event features a distinguished lineup of speakers, including senior officials from the Securities and Exchange Commission, leading jurists, academics, and practitioners from across the country. Notable sessions include keynotes by Chairman Paul S. Atkins of the SEC and The Honorable Leo E. Strine, Jr., former Chief Justice of the Delaware Supreme Court, as well as panel discussions on governance, shareholder engagement, and the future of corporate law.

This symposium is ideal for legal professionals, corporate executives, policymakers, and academics interested in corporate law and governance. It provides a unique opportunity to engage with thought leaders, stay informed on current trends, and network with peers in the field.
