Adam Cella is the Chief Counsel for the Administrative State, Regulatory Reform, and Antitrust at the House Committee on the Judiciary. Formerly, he was an attorney-advisor at the U.S. Federal Trade Commission. Prior to joining the FTC, he was an associate at Axinn, Veltrop & Harkrider LLP.
Ashley Walters

Ashley Walters is an Assistant Attorney General in the Antitrust and Nonprofit Enforcement Section of the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia. Her work focuses on antitrust matters, leading and contributing to investigations and enforcement actions across various industries, including digital markets and emerging technologies. Prior to joining the Office of the Attorney General, she practiced as a litigation associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP and Kirkland & Ellis LLP, representing companies in investigations and high-stakes antitrust and complex commercial litigation. Bruno Renzetti is Chief of Staff at the Tribunal of the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE) in Brazil. Carlota Reyners Fontana

Carlota Reyners is a Director in the Directorate General for Competition since August 1, 2023. She is in charge of the enforcement of antitrust, merger, and state aid rules in the field of information technology, communications, and media. In 2024, she was detached for two months to the Cabinet of the President of the Commission as acting Digital Adviser. She previously worked for eight years in DG CONNECT, leading legislative projects such as the review of the regulatory framework for telecoms resulting in the 2018 European Electronic Communications Code and the 2030 Digital Decade Policy Programme. She holds a law degree from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a Master in European law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles.

Mark R. Meador was sworn in on April 16, 2025, as a Commissioner of the Federal Trade Commission. He previously worked in private practice and as a visiting fellow at the Heritage Foundation Tech Policy Center. Prior to that, he served as Deputy Chief Counsel for Antitrust and Competition Policy for Senator Mike Lee, R-Utah. During the first Trump Administration, Meador worked as a trial attorney in the Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division and began his career as an attorney in the FTC’s Bureau of Competition. He earned his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center and his undergraduate degree in philosophy from the University of Chicago.

Omeed A. Assefi serves as Acting Assistant Attorney General for the Antitrust Division. He previously served as Deputy Assistant Attorney General with a focus on criminal enforcement. At the beginning of the second Trump Administration, he served as the division’s Acting Assistant Attorney General. Prior to that position, he litigated criminal prosecutions and led complex investigations against major companies and individuals for antitrust violations as a member of the division’s Washington Criminal Section. He also served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the District of Columbia, prosecuting violent crime in U.S. District Court as well as Superior Court. Before joining the U.S. Attorney’s Office, he served in the Trump Administration as a Deputy Associate Attorney General in the Office of the Associate Attorney General, helping supervise the Civil, Antitrust, and Civil Rights Divisions.
