The Sharda School of Law at Sharda University organized a Two-Day Hybrid International Conference on "Conceptualizing Legal Framework and Policies for Domestic Animal and Wildlife Conservation: Issues and Challenges" on January 16th and 17th, 2026, in Greater Noida. This event convened academicians, legal experts, researchers, students, and international participants to deliberate on the legal and policy challenges associated with animal and wildlife conservation.

The Valedictory Ceremony on January 17th, 2026, was graced by Hon'ble Mr. Justice Prasanna Bhalachandra Varale, Judge of the Supreme Court of India, as the Chief Guest. Shri Y. K. Gupta, Hon'ble Pro-Chancellor of Sharda University, presided over the function, and Prof. Dr. Robert Szuchy, Vice Rector of Károli Gáspár University, Hungary, attended as Guest of Honour. Their presence underscored the conference's significance and the collaborative efforts in addressing conservation challenges.
