CLE & Expo 2027

The 18th Annual Estate Planning and Community Property Law Seminar, known as the CLE & Expo 2027, is organized by the Estate Planning and Community Property Law Journal at Texas Tech University School of Law. This event is scheduled for Friday, February 19, 2027, and will be available both in person at the TTU School of Law and online. A reception honoring speakers and sponsors, featuring live music, drinks, and food, will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2027, at the Overton Hotel & Conference Center.

The seminar will cover a range of topics pertinent to estate planning and community property law. Previous sessions have included legislative updates, case law reviews, tax updates, and discussions on capacity, aging, and ethics. Notable past speakers have addressed subjects such as the rights of a killer in Texas to share in their victim's estate and ways to reduce litigation and exploitation in estate planning.
