Minnesota Law Workshop on Experiential Education 2027

The 2027 Minnesota Law Workshop on Experiential Education is a collaborative event organized by the University of Minnesota Law School, bringing together law school deans, associate and assistant deans, experiential education leaders, and clinicians. Scheduled from June 23 to June 25, 2027, at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs in Minneapolis, this workshop aims to build community, share best practices, and enhance the student experience in legal education.

The workshop focuses on three primary forms of legal experiential education: clinics, field placements, and simulation courses. Attendees can expect plenary sessions covering topics such as the NextGen bar exam, ABA experiential education credit requirements, and discussions on the preparedness of newly licensed lawyers. Breakout sessions will delve into simulation courses, evaluation of student performance, and the professional impact of legal experiential education.
