Federal Circuit Judicial Conference 2022
The Federal Circuit Judicial Conference is a biennial event organized by the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. This conference serves as a platform for judges, legal practitioners, and scholars to discuss the business of the court and explore means of improving the administration of justice within the circuit.
The 2022 conference featured a series of panels and discussions covering a range of pertinent topics. Sessions included a panel with Federal Circuit judges addressing best practices for advocacy before the court, a tribunal and agency panel discussing trials and decision-making processes within the court's jurisdiction, and an administrative law panel focusing on current issues in administrative law. Additionally, the conference included a session reviewing the 40th anniversary of the Federal Circuit, reflecting on its history and evolution.
The event provided ample networking opportunities, including scheduled breaks and a luncheon featuring a keynote address by Elizabeth B. Prelogar, Solicitor General of the United States. The conference also honored legal professionals with the American Inns of Court Professionalism Award, recognizing individuals who exemplify the highest standards of the legal profession and the rule of law.
