The Sedona Conference eDiscovery Negotiation Training 2027

by The Sedona Conference

The Sedona Conference eDiscovery Negotiation Training 2027 is an intensive program designed to enhance participants' skills in negotiating eDiscovery issues effectively. Organized by The Sedona Conference, a nonprofit institute dedicated to advancing law and policy, this training focuses on fostering cooperative strategies to ensure efficient and cost-effective fact-finding in legal proceedings.

The program covers key topics such as preservation, scope of discovery, form of production, privilege, and the handling of social media, messaging apps, ephemeral data, and AI-generated content. Through a combination of breakout sessions and plenary discussions, participants engage in mock exercises and receive personalized feedback from experienced faculty, including veteran trial lawyers, eDiscovery experts, and judges.

Attendees have the opportunity to participate in mock Rule 26(f) conferences and Rule 16(b) case management conferences, gaining practical experience in negotiating discovery issues. The program also includes networking opportunities, such as receptions, allowing participants to connect with peers and faculty members.

This training is ideal for legal professionals, including in-house counsel, outside counsel, and eDiscovery specialists, who seek to develop practical skills in eDiscovery negotiation. By attending, participants will enhance their ability to navigate complex discovery issues and promote cooperative strategies in their legal practice.
