Elizabeth Prelogar

Elizabeth Prelogar served as the 48th Solicitor General of the United States, overseeing all Supreme Court litigation. She has argued 35 cases in the Supreme Court, covering constitutional, administrative, civil rights, and environmental law. Prelogar held various roles at the Department of Justice, including Principal Deputy Solicitor General. She earned a bachelor's degree from Emory University, a master's in creative writing from the University of St. Andrews, and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. She also served as a visiting professor at Harvard Law School, teaching a class on Supreme Court paradigms.
