Andreas Mundt

Andreas Mundt has been President of the Bundeskartellamt since 2009. From 2013 to May 2025, he served as Steering Group Chair of the International Competition Network (ICN). Mundt joined the Bundeskartellamt in 2000, holding various positions, including Head of the International Unit and Head of the General Policy Division. He began his career as a desk officer in the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs in 1991. Mundt studied law in Bonn and Lausanne.
