Baltimore Speakers Series 2026

by Stevenson University

The Baltimore Speakers Series, presented by Stevenson University, is a distinguished annual event that brings together seven influential figures from various fields to share their insights and experiences. Held at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in Baltimore, Maryland, the series aims to foster understanding and critical thinking by presenting a diverse array of perspectives on global affairs, politics, history, the environment, literature, business, economics, and the arts.

The 2026-2027 season features an impressive lineup of speakers, including former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who will discuss his tenure leading the United Kingdom through significant events such as Brexit, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the early stages of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Other notable speakers include former U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, Pulitzer Prize-winning historian Doris Kearns Goodwin, financial journalist Andrew Ross Sorkin, former NASA Administrator Charles F. Bolden Jr., former U.S. Ambassador Nicholas Burns, and award-winning war photographer Lynsey Addario.

Each lecture begins at 8:00 pm and concludes around 9:30 pm, featuring a presentation followed by a lively Q&A session, allowing attendees to engage directly with the speakers. The series offers a unique opportunity for networking and intellectual engagement, attracting a diverse audience interested in gaining deeper insights into pressing global issues and contemporary topics.

Subscriptions to the series provide access to all seven lectures, with seating options ranging from open seating to reserved gold and platinum seats. Given the series' popularity and history of selling out, early subscription is recommended for those interested in attending.
