2026 Oregon Appellate Almanac Submission Deadline
The Oregon Appellate Almanac is an annual publication by the Appellate Practice Section of the Oregon State Bar, focusing on issues related to Oregon appellate law and practice. The Almanac invites submissions of articles ranging from 500 to 2,500 words, covering topics such as biographies and profiles of notable figures in Oregon law, court history and statistics, analyses of unique appellate law issues, as well as humor, poetry, and puzzles.
The 2026 submission deadline is September 1, 2026. In the event of unforeseen circumstances like a pandemic or natural disaster, extensions will be granted liberally. Submissions should be lightly footnoted as necessary, adhering to the Oregon Appellate Courts Style Manual. Authors receive a copy of the printed Almanac upon request and the recognition of the Oregon appellate community.
For inquiries or to submit a piece, please contact the editor, Nora Coon, at [email protected]. Past issues are available through HeinOnline.
